Eat healthy: Rule no. 1

A healthy diet during pregnancy is of paramount importance. Your diet must include all the food groups. However, you should stay away from alcohol, excess salt, and sugar. These take away the natural moisture from the skin and make it look dry and tired. Expecting mothers should eat raw salads with ingredients including lettuce, lemon, tomato, dates, spinach, apple, cabbage, figs, and walnuts.

Makeup do’s and don’ts

You need to give a second thought to every cosmetic product that you use. Products that are marked nonacnegenic or noncomedogenic should be used. They do not clog pores and are oil-free. Stay away from the cosmetics containing salicylic and retinol acid. Try minerals based products as they contain ingredients that don’t cause any irritation.
